AcuraWatch Safety Has You Covered When Driving Through Macon

At Sutton Acura, drivers often want to know how their Acura is keeping them safe. Well, if you have AcuraWatch technology onboard (it's found on most 2018 to current model year vehicles), you're getting an entire suite of safety that monitors surroundings and gives you added peace of mind any time you get behind the wheel of your Acura!

AcuraWatch Safety Features

  • Collision Mitigation Braking System™ is able to provide a radar transmitter and forward facing camera to alert you if you're getting close to an object and brake if you don't slow down in time
  • Forward Collision Warning is what will alert you if the gap between you and the vehicle in front of you is getting too close and you should reduce speed
  • Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning is used to keep you in your lane and make sure you stay in the designated driving lines of the road, as your Acura can monitor road lanes to keep you where you need to be
  • Blind Spot Information System does as it says; it monitors the blinds spots in the rear and sides of the vehicle where you can't see and will alert you if there is something in your blind zones
  • Rear Cross Traffic Monitor is used when you need to detect vehicles in front and behind you when you're in reverse that are approaching and it will sound an alert to let you know
  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow allows you to set a cruising speed and distance, and your Acura will keep that distance and speed, slowing down if needed, then getting back to speed
  • Lane Keeping Assist System works to make sure your car stays in your lane while driving as it will gently tug the steering wheel back into the lane, especially on curved or straight roads
