Meet Our Staff

Originally from South Georgia, Mr. Carlton Sutton is the Owner/Operator of Sutton Acura and has been so since April of 1990.  He started his career in the automotive industry in 1980 and has been an Acura dealer for the past 29 years.  Carlton is a hands on dealer and enjoys daily interaction with both employees and customers.  He enjoys giving back to our community through countless civic endeavors and many local charity events.

Mr.  Warren Steinmeyer has been the General Manager of Sutton Acura for over 29 years and has been with us since April of 1990.  Warren's focus on customer satisfaction is his number one priority and also one of the main reasons why Sutton Acura has been awarded Acura's "Dealership of Distinction" award for so many years.   He is professional, knowledgeable and always on hand to assist our customers with finding the car of their dreams, and with the service that follows.  He says he is proud and honored to have had the privilege of working with so many great people throughout the years and loves welcoming new customers into the Sutton Acura Family.   When not exceeding customer expectations, you will find him playing disc golf and spending time with his wife, Randa, and their two sons, Kyle and Dayton.

Mr. Jimmie Frye started with Sutton Acura in October of 2015 and is our Used Inventory Manager. He is originally from Cleveland, OH, and prior to joining us, he was in the United States Airforce for 6 years.   He currently lives in Perry with his wife, Alexandra, and their 3 dogs.  Outside of work he enjoys hiking, golfing, and watching all of his favorite Cleveland sports teams!

Mr. Steve Eddy is our Finance Manager and has been with Sutton Acura since October of 1993! He was born in San Antonio, but has lived in Macon most his life.  Steve handles all of our customers financing and banking needs and is always available to assist clients in the process of purchasing a new vehicle.  Steve is one of those guys that is always happy and always smiling! His favorite part of his career is interacting with his customers and he takes pride in listening carefully to them, assessing their needs and suggesting several options that will work best for them. When Steve is not in the office he is usually spending time in the outdoors with his wife, Amy.

Mr. Lee Leatherwood has been an Acura Sales and Leasing consultant with us since August of 1991. He is originally from Mansfield, OH, but he now calls Cochran home, where he lives with his wife, Sondra, and their two children, Jonathon and Makenzie.  He has seen many of you often as repeat customers, during service visits, and just as important, referrals.  Lee prides himself on giving customers the best purchase experience of their lives and is well known for going the extra mile for all of his customers.  He has a seemingly endless list of satisfied customers who return time and time again to deal with a trusted friend. When he isn't here at the dealership you can find Lee spending time with his family.

Mr. Vince Daniely has been an Acura Sales and Leasing Consultant with Sutton Acura for over 21 years!  He starting working with us here in April of 1998 and credits the customers he's met and the people he works with for his long tenure at Sutton Acura.  Chances are, many any of you have worked with Vince previously and over the years and he has obtained thousands of satisfied customers.  Vince has a way putting a smile on every one of his customer's faces - and his co-workers too!   He always goes the extra mile and thoroughly enjoys helping people purchase the car of their dreams!  If you need anything vehicle related, Vince is always available to lend a helping hand.

Mr. Jeff Portzer joined our staff back in August 2018. He has 25 years of previous service experience. In his spare time Jeff enjoys hunting and fishing as well as living the lake life. He is originally from Vermont and tries to make it home as often as he can to see his new granddaughter. Jeff always has a smile on his face and is ready to offer the best service available to his customers.

Mr. Al Dean joined the Sutton staff in October 2017. He assists in the delivery of parts as well as runs the shuttle service for our customers in our service department. Al always has a smile on his face and is always willing to help a customer or fellow employee. In his spare time you can find him cooking. 

Mr. Ray Lamping is our Parts Manager and has been with Sutton Acura since July of 2000 and has 25 years of parts experience.  He was born in Wheeling, IL but now resides here in Georgia. When he can get out of the office he can be found golfing, bowling, and most importantly, watch his son's baseball team! He is a supporter of the Clemson Tigers, Chicago Cubs, and the Bears!

Mrs. Sylvia Williams is our Office Manager and has been with Sutton Acura for over 29 years!  She started working with Acura in December of 1989 and has been working with Carlton, the owner, since 1990.  Sylvia is the "heart" of Sutton Acura.  She oversees daily administrative operations and all accounting duties of our company.  Sylvia's organizational skills insure smooth operations here at Sutton Acura.  She enjoys coming to work and says "she could not have asked for a better boss than Carlton".  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, camping, and gardening.  One of her favorite things is sitting around the fire pit talking with the love of her life, Danny.

Mr. Michael Graupp joined our team in February of 1999.  He was born in Raleigh, NC, but currently lives in Byron with his wife and son.   Michael has over 28 years of experience in automotive repair and is one of our Acura Certified Master Technicians as well as our NSX Master Tech.  He knows Acura's like the back of his hand, so you can be assured your vehicle is in excellent hands when Michael is working on it.  He is an extremely hard worker and dedicated to putting your vehicle back on the road safely.  When not at work, you can find Michael outdoors, fishing and hiking.
